ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

OVERVIEW

The Account Director will provide clear project leadership to all members of the Accounts Team. The Account Director will ensure that all assigned projects and accounts are completed according to time and budgetary requirements are in-line with the company quality standards.

Leading client relationships; guide and direct the wider team and provide key strategic input. Having a proactive awareness and understanding of new developments in the relevant therapy areas and the healthcare industry in general, and how these developments may affect a client's strategy.

Responsible for Senior Account Executives and Account Executives the Account Director will be the ambassador for the team and wider company. Exemplifying sound communication skills, motivating account teams and upholding the agency values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

. Experience in Medical/Healthcare Communications

. Lead Client Project Meetings

. Drive projects forward

. Offer strategic counsel to the client and role as a trusted partner, combined with a good understanding of the client team, interval stakeholders and processes

. Guide client understanding of the quality process, resource booking and timelines

. Overall responsibility for developing, budgeting, managing and finalising client projects

. Project/programme management & client relationships

. Demonstrate intimate understanding of client products, therapy areas and commercial strategy

. Financial Management; account, project budgets etc

. People Management; 1:1 and review meetings, coaching and manage upwards where applicable, adhere to HR processes

. Demonstrable people management experience

. Demonstrable account management experience

. Financial management and budget responsibility

. Project Management experience

. Proven experience as a leader within a similar environment
